Cynthia is 5’5 and 45 years old. In 2016 Cynthia weighed in at 325lbs. Her current weight is 190lbs!! She has lost 135 pounds total but 110 of that has been in the last 15 months.
Cynthia says, “I started keto back in January 2016 on my own and did it for about a year and half with My husband Frank. He lost about 40lbs and started his Spartan Obstacle course racing in April of 2017. He started first with Lifestyle Cuisines in the summer/fall of that year. I followed soon after in January 2018. I had recently gone thru bariatric surgery and knew I needed all the tools I could to maximize the best me both mentally, and physically. I knew I needed to be able to keep up with my husband at his races on the course, as his support system, to keep him going when he was at the point of exhaustion. I started with the keto meals myself about one year ago, with Lifestyle Cuisine because they were convenient well proportioned, tasted great and the macros were already calculated for me to put in my fitness pal. At that time I also started with Our House Studios myself in preparation for the next step of my weight loss journey. I did my first obstacle course race the Terrain Run in June of 2018 with my husband! I did my second race the Chattanooga Scenic City Mud Run in Sept 2018! Today, I can walk/jog at least 6 miles a week and boot camp/ocr train 2-3 days a week. I have so much more energy and endurance it's insane. I officially kicked this year off at Fall Creek Falls on New Year's Day and did a 4.5-mile hike and start my official OCR training tonight in preparation to run my first ever Spartan Sprint Race with my husband in April this year at Lake Lanier.”
