Can the meals be frozen? This is based on your preference, but yes meals can be frozen. However, meals with leafy green such as spinach and salads, do not freeze well. We recommend freezing meals that you plan on eating later in the week, but this is not a necessity.
What if I’m not home for delivery? If you are not home for delivery, you can leave a cooler with ice pack for the delivery driver to place your order in. If you are not home, there is no cooler, and no other instructions have been given, your order will be returned to the kitchen for you to pick up. Please note: drivers cannot wait longer than 5 minutes for you to reply or receive your order.
How can I change or modify my recurring order? If you are subscribed to recurring orders and wish to make a change or modification, simply text Mandy at 423-394-1380, or respond to the remind 101 text messages by 7pm on Thursday. You can also email at orders4lifestylecuisinemeals.com
What are the heating instructions? Most meals all have the same heating instructions. Pop the lid, heat for 2 minutes on high, 4 minutes if frozen (internal temperature should reach 225 degrees). Our containers are BPA free, reusable, dishwasher, and microwave safe. For meals such as salads, you can remove the chicken and heat if desired. Please remember over heating can cause meat to dry out and get tough.
How long are the meals good for? Meals have a 7-day shelf life (they should be eaten or frozen by the Saturday after you receive them). Please keep in mind we use fresh, organic, produce which can go bad faster than “regular” produce. We recommend eating salads, or meals with raw produce, earlier in the week.
When are orders due? Order are due by Thursday evening at 7pm for guaranteed pick-up/ delivery the following week.
